Most first visits start with an evaluation. We walk through your current injury and medical history. We will discuss your short term and long term health goals and map out a plan that’s right for you. CT Sports Physical Therapy & Wellness works with many insurance companies. You can view our current list of accepted policy holders here. If you don’t see your policy holder don’t worry! We’re happy to discuss your options for getting you the therapy you need – contact us!

Currently CT Sports is officed out of the Merritt on the River building at 20 Glover Avenue in Norwalk, CT. However we’re always on the go and participate at various events across the state – you can check out our Facebook to see where we are headed next!

Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) specializes in injuries acquired or resulted from sport. It is a nationally recognized certification through the American Physical Therapy Association. In order to sit for the exam, therapists must have experience in the Sports Physical Therapy field.

A wellness program consists of a unique combination of exercises that are created by your physical therapist to help with your personal goals. In the near future we will be expanding to offer gym memberships within our facility.

We would be happy to assist your team members with any of their injuries. We can also provide information and education on injury prevention to your team members and their parents/guardians.

 

There are general time frames that are specific to each injury that we can explain to you during your initial evaluation, however, every person recovers at a unique pace. We will set goals that will help give us an indication of your recovery process and modify these goals to help you feel better in the fastest and safest amount of time.
